Co-working and creative studio spaces provide a valuable place for like-minded entrepreneurs to work and connect. We invite you to step inside The Set, a new facility meeting the demand for flexible office space in the Vasse area…

The innovation ecosystem in the South West region continues to expand, with The Set the latest facility to open its doors in support of start-ups and businesses in the region.

The new co-working and creative studio in the growing Vasse Business Park is a new multi-purpose space offering up the environment and equipment small businesses need to be competitive in the marketplace.

The facility, developed as a joint venture between two local businesses, Innovation Cluster and Rural Enterprises, and supported with funding towards equipment from the SWDC, provides office space and flexible hot desks for professionals.

The Set incorporates an event space, training and meeting rooms – plus the equipment to support marketing and content creation.

Innovation Cluster Managing Director Natasha Teakle said The Set was established to provide a hub for like-minded entrepreneurs to connect.

“Businesses are supported with a wide range of programs, workshops, networking events and business advisors available at the space,” Ms Teakle said.

“We have already seen good take up in hire of the training room and are just starting promotion of the other equipment.

“We hope to see daily use of the equipment and more small businesses being empowered to create quality content for their marketing without having to travel to Perth.”

With anecdotal evidence of many small businesses, sole traders and creatives working from home from the region, facilities like The Set provide opportunities for these professionals to connect with like-minded people while also upskilling and building their capability. We are pleased to support this welcome addition to the innovation ecosystem in the region, which leading Australian demographer Bernard Salt once described as a lifestylepreneur hotspot.
