A significant UK Government study on the Australian hydrogen market carried out by Xodus will be launched at this week’s Innovative Industries of the Future Conference, taking place in Bunbury.
This will continue the recent focus on the development potential of the renewable hydrogen industry, with the WA Government having recently refreshed its Renewable Hydrogen Strategy for Western Australia.
The WA Renewable Hydrogen Strategy 2024-2030 prioritises investing in infrastructure and activating hubs, speeding up approvals and enhancing social license, and supporting strategic green ammonia and green metals projects.
The two-day IIF Conference will unpack the opportunities and challenges for industries and communities as nations transition to a clean industrial future.
More than 40 guest speakers and panellists will explore the game-changing trends driving economic growth and job creation over two days of insightful presentations, immersive panel discussions and informative industry showcases.

IIF 2024 is hosted by the South West Development Commission in partnership with the City of Bunbury and will be held at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre over November 5 and 6.
