Drawing on experts from throughout the business world, the South West Focus Conference will give people the chance to learn more about international business relations and global trends.
South West Chambers of Commerce and Industry president David Kerr said the conference was particularly relevant to local businesses.
“The South West of Western Australia is the regional economic powerhouse of the State and has a diverse range of businesses actively participating in the global marketplace,” he said.
“The conference will focus on the opportunities in economic hotspots around the world and present the strategies used, and lessons learnt through the experience of high ranking speakers.
“Presenting at the conference’s morning session will be corporate speaker Kevin Sheedy, Western Australian Trade Office regional director in Mumbai Simon Johnson, LandCorp chief executive Ross Holt, former Western Australian Agent General Noel Ashcroft and Australian Centre for Digital Innovation director Alan Lindsay.
“The afternoon session will feature Australia Arab Chamber of Commerce WA chair Edmund Damouni, The Confucious Institute at the University of WA business development manager Vada Ng, North West Chemicals and Fertilisers project director Joseph McCarthy and Austrade’s Adam Denniss.”
