The South West Health Campus in Bunbury is a major medical centre for the region with 24 hour emergency care and both a private and public hospital.
The South West features a choice of government and private schools, technical training colleges and a university campus.
The region's major technical training college, the South West Regional College of TAFE, has campuses throughout the region. The main campus of the College is situated in Bunbury with regional centres in Busselton, Collie, Harvey, Manjimup and Margaret River. Other locations administered by the College are located in Augusta, Boyup Brook, Bridgetown, Brunswick Junction, Donnybrook, Dunsborough, Greenbushes, Nannup, Northcliffe and Pemberton.
In addition Bunbury is home to a campus of the Edith Cowan University which features modern facilities, small class sizes and a comprehensive range of courses plus the recent addition of new $2.7 million student housing.
The region also boasts fine sporting facilities such as indoor swimming pools, sporting fields, horse racing and pacing centres and world-class golf courses.
The South West also offers vibrant retail shopping facilities, from major national chain stores, to boutique specialist stores.
