Regional Coordinators
The South West Development Commission offers support and advice throughout the entire South West Region. Helping to reach our stakeholders face-to-face are the Commission's regional coordinators who focus on specific regional areas and provide support for local projects to enhance the economy and lifestyle of those areas.

Alan Cross
Regional Coordinator
Bunbury Harvey Dardanup region
Alan has been closely involved with a diverse range of large and small projects, and has worked in partnership with all three tiers of Government, business and community groups.
He has been employed in various positions within the SWDC since he commenced in 1987, and has a background in Government, banking and business.
Alan has a Bachelor of Social Science (Human Services) from Edith Cowan University, and a Masters in Regional Development from the University of Western Australia.

Jane Manning
Regional Coordinator
Vasse region
Jane has worked in regional development in the South West for the past 17 years. She commenced with the South West Development Commission in 1991, and is experienced in facilitation, community development and local economic development.
She works closely with community groups and local government, and in partnership with other government agencies in the region.
Jane was a founding board member of the Busselton Dunsborough Enterprise Centre and served for 10 years on the Augusta/Margaret River Enterprise Centre Board.

Deanna Giumelli
Regional Coordinator
Warren Blackwood region
Deanna has worked in community development in the South West for over 10 years in local and state government, and not-for-profit organisations. She was instrumental in the development and implementation of a state and national award winning youth and community recreation and volunteer recruiting project within local government.
Deanna has a passion for community engagement and inclusivity, and through her role as Regional Coordinator for the Warren Blackwood area she supports the social and economic development of the region.

Richard Oades
Regional Coordinator
Collie Preston region
Richard has 30 years of management and community development experience including time spent running his own consultancy business.
He has a background in social sustainability and a special interest in making places more sustainable and more meaningful to people.
In his role as Regional Coordinator for Collie-Preston, Richard will work in places such as Collie, Donnybrook and Capel to generate new and support existing projects that benefit the South West.
