John Butler and the Leeuwin Estate get behind the SW Community Foundation
South West Community Foundation funds received a boost recently thanks to blues and roots muso John Butler and the Leeuwin Estate.
A recent concert by Mr Butler at the estate raised $36,000 for the foundation, which will provide grants to worthwhile community projects that would normally miss out on funding.
The money will be put towards funds that will be held in perpetuity. Interest earned from the fund will be used to provide grants.
The foundation is a local, not-for-profit organisation that comes under the umbrella of the Western Australian Community Foundation.
