Connect South West – South West Online
More than three in four South West businesses, and over 2200 community groups now have a web presence thanks to the South West's newly-upgraded web portal www.mysouthwest.com.au
The new site, officially launched in June 2005 and developed through the Connect South West Association Inc, is a state-of-the art web presence for the region and is one of the results delivered under the Government's South West Online Policy.
Already 84% of small businesses in the South West have improved their web presence by being part of the new Mysouthwest.com.au portal which allows them access to an online purchasing facility with a secure banking and shopping facility.
Connect South West Inc is also working with Telecentres, community groups, small businesses and government agencies to provide impartial advice and training on the adoption of best practice information technology and telecommunications.
