South West Region Events Grants
Under the South West Events Program the South West Development Commission provides grants for South West festivals, events and markets which:- promote visitation to the South West;
- are of regional significance; and
- provide an experience of high quality.
The Program provides grants of up to $4,000 to host events, festivals and markets in the South West Region. Grants of up to $2000 are also available to pay for professional coordination of an event.
Priority is given to events that are new or in the early stages of development. They must be innovative, have regional significance, create economic and community benefits and promote the region as an attractive tourist destination.
The funding round for 2010 is now open and closes at 4.00pm, Monday 26 October 2009.
