What is SWDC
The South West Development Commission is an agency of the Government of Western Australia and is governed by a board of management.
Our role is to foster the economic development of the South West Region of Western Australia.
We work in close partnership with other State and Commonwealth Government bodies, local government, industry, business and community groups to ensure the region develops in a positive and sustainable way for the future of its people.
We promote the region with the aim of attracting visitors, new residents and investment.
