The region's calendar of events is filled with an array of popular music festivals, food and wine shows and national sporting contests that make the South West an exciting place to be.
And with such a diverse range of events taking place almost every weekend, there is guaranteed to be something for everyone − whether it's sampling local food and culture at the Harvey Harvest Festival or getting the year off to a rockin' start by attending the annual Southbound music festival.

Events funding
The South West Development Commission helps the region's events to shine a little brighter through the South West Events Program.
The annual funding scheme provides grants to host events in the South West and to pay for professional coordination of an event.
Relay for Life is an annual event that challenges the community to raise money for cancer research.
